Products used for facialThe facial treatment is one of the best ways of looking after your skin. It has many benefits, in particular, when using the right products for your skin type, the facial treatment will certainly help with a variety of skin conditions. These treatments are not just for people with problematic skin as it is also beneficial for maintaining the quality of every skin type. It will also make you feel relaxed ensuring that you feel good about yourself throughout and after the treatment.

The stress of every day living and the pollution of our environment can cause your skin to age prematurely. A facial will help to remove the day to day grime from the environment, whilst combating stress at the same time, making it the ideal treatment.

During the facial routine, we use only quality professional products from the Natures Way line as they are of a very high quality, have a good reputation and have not been tested on animals.

The steps involved in the facial treatment are:

1) Cleanse the skin
The facial routine begins with a superficial cleanse which is used to remove the surface dirt. This is then followed by a deep cleanse, which removes all traces of make-up, in-ground dirt, bacteria, pollution from the environment, congestion in the pores and the top layer of dead skin cells.

2) Tone the skin
Skin toners are certainly a must after cleansing, as this will remove every trace of make-up and has a tightening and cooling effect on the skin. It will also be used after the removal of a mask, to refine skin texture.

3) Skin Analysis
This involves a close examination of the skin in order to accurately assess your skin type and which products are best suited to it.

4) Exfoliation
An exfoliant is used to remove dead skin cells from your face ensuring that your skin is prepared for the remainder of the treatment.

5) Facial massage
This is the most relaxing part of the facial routine. An almond oil carrier is used with an essential oil blend, suitable for your skin type for the massage. The benefits include, a relaxed feeling, improved skin texture, improved muscle tone, cellular regeneration is encouraged, fine lines are temporarily plumped and lymphatic drainage is improved. The massage usually last around 10-15 minutes.

6) The mask

Masks aids deep cleansing, helps the appearance of a sallow and a sensitive skin, reduces fine lines and wrinkles and helps maintain a normal skin.

7) Moisturise
Using a moisturiser will help your skin to remain smooth and supple and to maintain your moisture level. It is important to use a moisturiser daily as this will help protect you from environment such as sun, wind, cold, central heating and air conditioning.

A luxury facial, costing £25, will last around 1 hour, the standard facial, which costs £15.50, will last around 30 minutes.

In order that you maintain the benefits of the facial treatment we recommend that the treatment be repeated every 6 - 8 weeks.
